Tips
- Take into consideration the time of year and weather conditions when planning to build a water garden. And remember, hiring a Certified Aquascape Contractor will insure the job gets done right the first time. To learn more about building water gardens and ecosystem ponds, visit Aquascape Water Gardens.
- Note: Certification by Aquascapes simply means certfied in installing their products. There are numerous manufacturers and installers that offer quality products. Research your options for materials and check references for installers.
- Placing rocks IN the pond makes it harder to keep clean and healthy. This is a scheme created recently by a Large pond company trying to sell lots of extras (like skimmer, filters etc). Keeping the pond bottom open and removing leaves annually will keep the pond balanced and clear without the extra expense of skimmers and filters.
