Things You'll Need
- wheelbarrow
- horizontal shaft engine
- sprocket/ belt pulley
- gasoline (for engine)
- Get a wheelbarrow and take off the barrow.
- Find a sprocket (chains run on this).
- Attach this sprocket to your wheel on the wheelbarrow.
- Get a used horizontal shaft engine.
- Mount the engine onto the base, but first attach a steel plate on the cross bar on your base. Add support where needed.
- Attach a chain to your engine's sprocket and to the base's sprocket.
Tips
- You can use a belt pulley.
- Be careful as some of the steps can be dangerous.
- Always have another person with you when you are mounting the engine.
Warnings
- Never touch a running engine. Even after the engine is off, it will still be hot.
- Keep any source of fire away from your engine.
- The tractor belts can take off limbs.
